Cash machine, a mobile phone and a £20 note: The bizarre floral tributes left by grave of armed robber (but someone’s stolen the ATM)
Normally a wreath or a bouquet of flowers are enough for friends and family to show their love and respect at the death of a loved one. But these bizarre floral tributes left by the grave of an armed robber appear to celebrate his life of crime.
Thomas Curtis, 29, who carried out £1million raids with his fellow gang members, was found hanged in prison. The flower displays left include a life-size ATM machine, a Post Office sign, a £20 note and a can of red diesel.
In an ironic twist, the screen and the keypad on the cashpoint appear to have been stolen overnight from the grave in Elm, Cambridgeshire.
